Forum Rules
Prime Directive of Relay Station Bravo: Have fun! This forum exists for your enjoyment and the enjoyment of all members of Bravo Fleet. As soon as we stop having fun, we stop being a community, so please respect your fellow members.
Now, as for the rest of the rules:
- Please keep all content to a 13+ standard. A good guideline to follow for this is keeping to what has been seen onscreen on any Star Trek film (overtly sexual content including nudity of any kind, major swear words, scenes of graphic violence are examples).
- There will be personal disagreements. However, please take anything that has been asked by one of the forum moderators off the main forums – private messages, email or IM.
- The forum staff is here to help you, not to hinder you in any way. Please, if we ask you to do something, do it.
- We have a low tolerance level for spam and troll posts. The forum staff reserves the right to ban any spammer or troll poster without warning, though most that do this will be warned beforehand.
- If a thread is closed, one of the forum staff will post a reason for it to be closed. It’ll be for a good reason that we close a thread; please don’t recreate that thread because you disagree and instead PM the mod that locked it if you have any concerns.
- Avatars can be no larger than 150 pixels by 180 pixels.
- Signatures have a limit of 600 characters and should not exceed 700 pixels by 300 pixels in size. Please also keep in mind that we will still be enforcing rule #1 on signatures, including in links.
- Please keep yourself to one user account. The forum staff reserves the right to remove and/or ban any duplicate account.
- If you wish to change your username please contact an administrator, they will happily perform the change for you.
- Please do not post recruitment adverts anywhere other than the recruitment forum, please ensure you read the recruitment forum rules before you post. Equally do not advertise your simm anywhere other than in the recruitment area. (This includes comments such as "USS So and So has such and such positions open" in introductions forum and anywhere else other than the designated area for such purposes)
- We don’t mind discussing things as a community. We try to have academic discussions in the Academic Discussions Forum.
- Please do not hotlink images from other sites where you do not have permission to. There are several free services available that will do this for free, such as Photobucket or SkyDrive.
- Copyrights are also strictly enforced. Images or links to copyrighted material, or requests for copyrighted material are not tolerated anywhere on these forums.
- In case of any disagreements with the staff of BF Forums where the user feels they've not been treated fairly, contact a currently active member of the forum Administration staff via PM.
- Grammar/Spelling/Syntax - all important! Please refrain from using netspeak and text message speak in your posts ('ur gr8', 'i h8 u ppl', etc). There are a great number of people on this community that might not understand what you’re saying, due to regional variations of the same abbreviations that you may use.
- Any of these rules maybe enforced by an infraction system by the Super Moderators and Administrators of these forums. How does it work? We assign points based on the severity of the incident. There are different point values that may be assigned. 10 points will result in a ban. Points roll off after a set amount of time.
- The Administrators and Super Moderators can also issue Warnings. These warnings have no point value whatsoever.
- If you would like someone to look into any actions taken by Private Message, please keep the Private Message so that we may investigate this further.
